Restorative Yoga is very different from the ‘normal’ type of Yoga.
It is mainly for people who have had some form of trauma, emotional, mental or physical, and find a standard Yoga class inaccessible to them.
In restorative Yoga we hold the poses for a longer period of time, supported by large bolsters, blankets and pillows to relax the deeper muscles and the mind. During the class I teach mindfulness practises and different forms of breathing techniques.
I am a 500 hour trained Yoga, mindfulness and meditation teacher, with an extra years training in yoga therapy for cancer patients.
I have been an instructor for 9 years.
I keep the class capped at 12 people, so I can get to everyone and adjust the poses accordingly to suit their needs.

There will be a free introductory session on the 22nd of April at 4.30 for practitioners and an open class at 6pm.
The classes are held at 123 Spencer Street, Level 1. Bunbury at Cloud Nine Wellness Centre.

There will be restorative yoga classes each Friday at 4.30 and 6pm startng the 29th of April.
 
Classes will be $20 or $15 when you come with a friend.
